A Level German Pathway
The A Level German Pathway is specially designed for secondary school leavers who are interested in starting their pre-university studies. Students who enrol in this course will study their A Levels at Methodist College while studying the German language. The duration of this programme is 18 months. Upon completion of this programme, students should be able to understand and communicate in basic German.
University Preparation Programme
The University Preparation Programme is a 15-month course aimed at preparing students for university life in Germany. This course is divided into 2 parts.

Students will learn German for 9 months in Malaysia (up to German B2), followed by 3 months in Germany. Students will then sit for the TestDAF/DSH examinations. After passing your final German exam, you will be guided on choosing the right university for you. Our team will then assist you with the university application.
Fast-track University Preparation Programme
The Fast-track University Preparation Programme is a 6 to 9-month programme where students can focus solely on learning enough German as required by the German university they want to apply to. Classes will be held daily, from Monday to Friday, to enable students to pick up the language as quickly as possible.

There are 2 intakes per year. January intake aims to prepare students for the summer intake at the university, whereas the July intake is designed for students to enter the winter intake at the university.

Goethe Institut Malaysia offers standard as well as superintensive German language classes in Kuala Lumpur from level A1 up to level C2.
