Depending on your course requirements, the university preparation programme includes the German language classes you need.
The duration and programme fee will depend on the level of German required, as well as whether you complete the programme entirely in Malaysia or partly in Germany.
What Other UEC Students Asked
Can I really skip A Level and still study in Germany and Austria?
Yes. If the course you want to apply to is offered by Deggendorf Institute of Technology or FH Kufstein Tirol, you do not need to have A Level. Your UEC qualification will be accepted.
Is it better to study in Austria or Germany?
Both are excellent. FH Kufstein Tirol has smaller class sizes while you get waived the €500 semester fee at Deggendorf Institute of Technology.
How do I know how much German I will need to learn?

Can I study in English?
It depends if what you want to study is offered in English.
We do strongly recommend that you be fluent in German to maximise your opportunities. More part-time job options, and much better chance to get a full-time job after you graduate.
