Common misconceptions about studying in Germany After Foundation and MUFY:

English-taught programmes in Germany don’t require German fluency. Only programmes taught in German require German language proficiency.

Deggendorf Institute of Technology (DIT) charges only €500 per semester. On top of that, you’ll need to cover your living expenses, which are relatively affordable compared with other countries.

The student visa process is straightforward if you have the necessary documents and can show proof of sufficient funds, such as through a blocked account in Germany.

You are allowed to work part-time for up to 20 hours a week.

What Other Foundation and MUFY Students Asked

Deggendorf Institute of Technology offers both English and German-taught courses. However, you should prioritise the language requirement of the course you want to study, regardless if it’s offered in German or English.

No, you don’t need a perfect GPA. As long as you meet the minimum entry requirements and have a recognised foundation qualification or MUFY, you can apply to our partner universities in Germany.

Our study advisors can share more. It depends on the course and university requirements.

The application process can take several weeks, so it’s important to start early. Be sure to gather all necessary documents and submit your application well before the deadline.

You do not have to worry about this because your MUFY qualification will be pre-checked with our partner university to make sure that you will be accepted.

You can contact German Educare to confirm if your Foundation qualification meets the university’s specific entry criteria.
