Before registering

I'm not from Malaysia. Can I still sign up?

Yes, the telc German exam is offered to all students.

Where are the telc exams held?

The exams are held at German Educare’s office in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

Can I postpone or cancel my telc exam?

You can only postpone or cancel your telc exam during the grace period. It will not be possible after that.

What happens if I am sick on the day of my exam?

Kindly notify the examiner as soon as you can. The examiner has the rights to determine if you should proceed with the exam. You will unfortunately not be able to receive a refund even if you are deemed unfit for the exam.

Can I have the result of my previous telc exam recognised?

Your telc exam result is valid for 12 months. That means you can carry forward the component of the telc exam which you have passed and have it combined with your next exam.

In order for your previous exam component to be recognised, you will need to submit your copy of the last exam result during your registration.

How does the digital telc examinations look like?

Do you offer other services related to telc exam like exam preparation classes or airport pickup.

On the exam day

Can I bring my mobile phone to the exam?

Your mobile phone will have to be locked away once you register on the exam day. You’ll only receive it back again after your exam is done for the day.

That means that if you are sitting for both written and oral exam on the same day, you will only receive it again after your oral exam.

If you need to contact or message someone, please do so before handing in your phone.

Exam results

How soon can I get my telc exam results?

It will take at least 4 weeks after the exam to get the results. As soon as we have received your results, we will inform you via email.

Refund policy

We reserve the rights to change the exam dates. In this situation, you’ll be given a grace period to postpone your exams or ask for a refund.

In the case of refunds, RM150 processing fee will be charged. Any banking fees are to be paid in full by the applicant.

After the grace period, no refund will be allowed.
