Common Misconceptions About Studying in Germany After Foundation

Many English-taught programmes in Germany don’t require German fluency. Only programmes in German need language proficiency.

MUFY and foundation qualifications are accepted by some German universities for undergraduate admission.

Germany has low or no tuition fees at public universities. You only need to cover living costs, which are affordable compared to other countries.

Applying is simple. Most universities use UniAssist, requiring your foundation transcripts, English proficiency, and other documents. For students with Foundation or MUFY, German Educare is able to apply directly to our partner universities.

The student visa process is straightforward if you have the necessary documents, like university acceptance and block account.

Students can work part-time while studying—up to 140 full days or 280 half days per year.

A perfect GPA isn’t required. Meeting the minimum entry requirements and completing a foundation or MUFY programme is enough.

For some courses, the university may ask for additional documents like transcripts, a motivation letter, or proof of financial resources to cover living expenses.
