Bachelor's degree in Germany or Austria

Continue your Bachelor’s degree at a suitable partner university in Austria and Germany.

Current partner universities include FH Upper Austria, and Deggendorf Institute of Technology.

Further study or work in Germany

After completing your Bachelor’s degree, you can explore further study or career opportunities in Germany or Austria.

German university graduates can extend their stay for up to 18 months while Austrian university graduates can stay up to 12 months to search for a job.

You can study in English or in German

While many programmes are offered in German, there are programmes in English too.

For example, FH Upper Austria offers English-taught options such as:

Some other programmes start in English and transition to German, and the rest are offered in German only.

And you don’t need to know German to join the Express European Pathway. German classes are included as part of the preparation programme.

Study, work and experience Europe at the same time

Students can work part-time for up to 20 hours per week, earning around €10/hour in Austria and €12/hour in Germany.

You’ll also receive an allowance during your internship, which is usually enough to help cover your living expenses.

But it’s not just about earning extra money. Part-time work and internships give you real work experience, help you practise your German, and give you a chance to understand how the workplace operates in Germany or Austria.

Together, these experiences can help strengthen your CV and improve your chances of finding a job after graduation.

What happens after your Bachelor's?

After graduation, you can stay for up to 12 months in Austria or 18 months in Germany to look for a job.

Another option is to further your studies. With Austria and Germany in the EU, you can also explore opportunities to continue your studies in other EU countries.

Yes. There’s an additional requirement though. Your IELTS should be 5.0 or better to join EEP, and IELTS 6.0 or better to apply to the university.

No. EEP includes German language preparation, starting from beginner level.

Yes, if the course you are interested to study is offered in English.

No. EEP prepares you for university and provides application guidance, but the final admission decision is made by the university.

Having said that, we do our best to give you a good chance of getting accepted. After all, 100% of our students have successfully received an acceptance so far.
