Where to study A Level with German language in Malaysia

TL;DR: You can now get ready to study in Germany by learning German language concurrently with your A Level. Here are a few institutions in Malaysia that offer A Level preparatory programme to Germany.

You have completed your SPM, O-level, IGCSE or equivalent and have decided to further your studies in Germany. You now have the option to learn German together with your pre-u or learn German intensively after you have completed your pre-u.
If you are looking for where to learn A level and German language in Malaysia, there are currently four educational institutions with an A Level preparatory programme to Germany, namely Methodist College Kuala Lumpur, MCKL College (Penang, Pykett campus), German-Malaysian Institute and INTEC Education College.
Programme name: Cambridge A Level (German Pathway)
Location: Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur
Pathway: A Level (18 months) followed by an intensive German language programme (9 months) in Malaysia and Germany
What can students study: Any Bachelor’s degree courses except law and medicine
Choice of universities: University, technical university, university of applied sciences
Intakes: January, July
Requirements: Pass SPM/O-level/IGCSE or equivalent with minimum 5 credits
Programme name: Cambridge A Level (German Pathway)
Location: Pykett, Penang
Pathway: A Level (18 months) followed by an intensive German language programme (9 months) in Malaysia and Germany
What can students study: Any Bachelor’s degree courses except law and medicine
Choice of universities: University, technical university, university of applied sciences

Requirements: Pass SPM/O-level/IGCSE or equivalent with minimum 5 credits
Programme name: German A Levels Preparatory Programme (GAPP)
Location: Taman Universiti, Kajang
Pathway: A Level (22 months) followed by an intensive German language programme (6 months) at language centres in Germany
What can students study: Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Choice of universities: University of applied sciences
Intakes: July
Requirements: Pass SPM or O-Level with minimum C for English, Modern Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
Programme name: A-Level German Programme (ALG)
Location: Section 17, Shah Alam
Pathway: A Level (22 months) followed by an intensive German language programme (6 months) at the Institut für Internationale Kommunikation e.V. in Düsseldorf and Berlin.
What can students study: Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Choice of universities: University of applied sciences
Intake: July
Requirements: Pass SPM or O-Level with minimum 5 credits (English and Mathematics are compulsory subjects)
